Description
The low stainless steel post is the ideal solution for raising railings and parapets that are too low, especially during the renovation of older buildings.
In the past, many balconies were built with parapets lower than current standards. Today’s safety regulations require minimum heights (100–110 cm), and this product allows existing structures to be brought into compliance without demolition.
Made from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel, it is corrosion-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, in the polished version also for marine areas.
Available in various heights (from 200 to 500 mm), with or without horizontal crossbar, it is compatible with:
- Masonry parapets
- Balconies with low walls
- Existing railings to be raised
- Condominium and private installations
Can also be made with custom heights.
Compact and easy to install thanks to through holes and locking grub screw.
The 12.5 mm holes allow passage of 12 mm crossbars and thanks to the M5 grub screw positioned at 90° the crossbars are locked without welding.
This post is used when installation is on a flat surface. The through holes do not allow use on ramps or stairs.
Available in AISI 304 SATIN stainless steel and in AISI 316 both SATIN and POLISHED.
You can choose from many variants: material, type of fixing, height and number of crossbars.

TYPE OF FIXING:
Floor-mounted:
the post is fixed to the floor surface using a round plate with 80 mm diameter.
A corresponding cover washer is supplied with the plate.
Side-mounted:
the post is fixed laterally using a round plate with 100 mm diameter.
POST DIAMETER:
Diameter 42.4 mm.
Offered for both the AISI 304 and AISI 316 versions. It is the most commonly used diameter and adapts well to both indoor and outdoor installations.
